Aghosh program registration process
Eligible women can enrol in the Punjab Aghosh Program by visiting their nearest health facilities in the mentioned 12 districts. Follow the below step-by-step guide to enrol in the Punjab Aghosh program.
1. Visit a Nearby Health Facility
You can register by Visiting the nearest Basic Health Unit (BHU), Rural Health Center (RHC), Tehsil Headquarters Hospital (THQ), or District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) in your district.
2. Consult a Healthcare worker
You can get further assistance with the registration process by meeting with:
- Lady Health Visitor (LHV)
- Authorized healthcare professional
3. Provide Necessary Documents
Submit the following documents:
- Valid CNIC (Computerised National Identity Card)
- Proof of residence
- Maternity records
4. Electronic Registration
The health worker will enter your record into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system for official registration.
5. Receive Confirmation
- Once registered, you will be notified through SMS or in-person communication for the next step
- Aghosh program card will be given after successful registration
Aghosh program Payment Details
The Punjab Aghosh Program provides financial aid in different stages to support both mothers and newborns with proper medical care. Here's how the payments are distributed:
1. Registration Payment
- Rs. 2,000 will be given to the mother when she initially registered at a government health facility.
2. Antenatal Check-ups (During Pregnancy)
- Rs. 1,500 is provided for each scheduled check-up during the 3rd, 6th, 7th, and 9th months of pregnancy. The total will be 6,000 completing all four checkups.
3. Delivery at a Government Health Facility
- Rs. 4,000 is granted when the baby is delivered at a public hospital or health center.
4. Postnatal & Newborn Care
- Rs. 2,000 for the newborn’s first check-up within 15 days of birth.
- Rs. 2,000 for each of the first and second measles vaccinations.
- Total: Rs. 4,000 for immunization support.
5. Birth Registration Reward
- Rs. 5,000 is given for registering the child’s birth certificate (B-Form/CRC) with NADRA and updating the EMR system.
